It brings back the magic and nostalgia of the Beat 'em up of the' 80s and '90s as well as being packed with easter eggs and references to retro games and the 99vidas podcast.. Not fun.First off the characters have stats of speed and strength but there is no noticeable difference among characters. In the first level you're attacked from enemies off screen several times. And the fact that enemies can block attacks but from what I could tell you can not just makes the game feel broken.. 99Vidas bring us back to a classic game genre, the amazing beat ‘em up! Despite the fact that some of the new games of this genre come in a 3D platform, 99Vidas throw us back to the classical arcade. We have a good amount of characters to choose, and each has their own element, like fire, lightning, water and rock. The side scrolling movement, urban fights and pixel style sound like a good game to remember the classics. But it is not only a rescue of the past; it has its own features like upgrade purchases, characters to unlock and 3 types of game mode. 99Vidas is a great game for anyone who wants to remember the good old beat ‘em up.
